Student Visa Guidance

Planning to Study in the UK? Let Univice Guide You

If you’re an international student aiming to study full-time or part-time in the UK, you’ll need a Student visa. As of October 5th, 2020, the UK has simplified its student visa system—what was previously known as Tier 4 (General) is now simply Student, and Tier 4 (Child) is now Child Student.

  • Who Can Apply for a UK Student Visa?
You may be eligible to apply for a Student visa if:
  • You’re 16 years or older
  • You’ve received an offer from a licensed UK education provider
  • You have enough funds to cover your tuition and living expenses
  • You can speak, read, write, and understand English
  • If you’re 16 or 17, you have parental permission

If you’re under 18 and planning to study at an independent school, the Child Student visa might be the right route for you.
